Dr. Hong LIN got his doctoral degree from Tsinghua University in 2006. He currently serves as the Director of Zhengzhou Institute of Metrology, Vice Director of the Heat Division at National Institute of Metrology, Chairman of the Climate Change and Clean Air Focusing Group of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP), and member of the Steering Committee of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) Sectorial Task Group on Climate Change and Environment (STG-CENV). His research now focuses on the cavity ring-down spectroscopy for greenhouse gas monitoring and precise spatiotemporal measurement of urban carbon flux. He has won “the IIZUKA Young Metrologist Award” of the APMP, the Gold and Silver Prizes of “the National Science and Technology Progress Award” in China.
